Life after surgery
9 days post surgery and my husband is having a very tuff time getting his energy back. This is a man who went non stop 14 hours a day, 6 days a week prior to surgery. And now gets exhausted just taking a shower and brushing his teeth. We go back to see the ENT surgeon on Tuesday. I am going to find out what he should be doing to get his energy back. Oh by the way, so far my insurance has denied to pay the ENT surgeon because he is not medically necessary? I dont think the neurosurgeon would of requested him if he didn't think he was medically necessary! I will get letters from both doctors and appeal it. But I wish I didn't have to go through the hassle. His diabetes is doing pretty good levels are normal. But he is still taking medication for diabetes because he is on hydrocortisone and that raises anyones sugar. Carpal tunnel feeling better. He is still walking crooked? Not sure what that is about. It's like he walks with a limp but says nothing hurts. Strange.
