letter I will never send

Dear Connie,

I just want to set some things straight. I am a big girl and can take the lies and hatered you have towards me, but lying around your uncle has only made him more sad and disapointed in you, and the lies you have told to others, eventually start to lose their polosh as people realize they do not add up and start putting together the truth as it is. I can post the many things you have said to my husband on Facebook in public posts to blow you out of the water in this if I really wanted to, or I could keep dragging this out by looking at changes of lible and slander, but I really don't want to do that. That has not been what this whole thing has been about, and I have done my best to take the high road, though you make it very loney, and slinging mud seems more appealing.

The whole reason this started was because of you lying. the whole reason why it continues is because of you lying. If there is anyone to blame for the family losing the farm there is only one person to blame - it is you. And asking me if I will pay your bills so that you can keep living there would not be appealing to anyone, and I am not going to pay for your ability to keep dragging my family name through the mud.

Would you like me to tell people the things you have said about my dad? because I can also post the court records for that aswell.

The truth is that I am a big girl and can take all of your words, and crazy acts, but it was when you started to upset my children almost daily that my husband was brave enough to say no more. That is the only reason why he started looking for a job in anoher town and the only reason why we would have ever moved.

See, you could have had the best deal going. First, I was going to pay your dad a price for the whole farm just for his half and he would then divide it between his kids and grandkids as an enheritance and they would still be able to use the farm, but you did something there, and I will never know exactly what, but I have my thoughts.    Then, I was going to pay you and then you would still be able to use any and every area of the farm as long as you payed for up to half of the upkeep costs of any building you used.  Then, you could have been able to continue to live there with your son buying my half for a cheap cost, but you had to talk him out of it because you wanted it all for yourself.     You thought I had been making oodles of money trying to keep the farm running, but you soon found out that I simply poured every dime I had into that farm, and you don't work and quickly ran out of money... but that doesn't stop you from saying otherwise to everyone else but me.

I could be mad at you, but the truth is that not only do I forgive you, but I feel badfor you. See, you are only following in the footsteps of your dad. Footstes your dad hoped none of his kids would follow in and footsteps that your dad set up ways to  keep you from doing that, but I couldn't hold up any of the promises I made him, because of you.

Your dad was a sad lonely man towards the end, and came to the realization that he had no friends left becayse the few people he did call friends dies before him from heart conditions from the hatered they held, and none of his family wanted to come visit him because of how mean he had been to them when they were younger. He realized that I was one of the few people left in his life that loved him because no matter hwta he did to me, I was still there for him. I cared for him, fed he and Pat, did their daily chores and tasks, and took them where they needed to go. I sat with them on lonely days, and included them in anything they wanted to be included in, even when it wasn't easy - because I loved them. And I was repaid by never being allowed to see them again.

I could get even and do these things to you, but the truth is, I would never do that. I also can's judge you in all the poor decisions you have made bcause there is only one judge of this world, and it is not me. What I can do is protect my children from ever being hurt by you again.

When I think of you, I am reminded of a line from Aladin. "You were born a street rat; you will die a street rat; and only your flees will mor you." You were not born on the street, but you were born to a lying cheat, and you will yourself die a lying cheat unless you make the choices to change that for yourself because if you don't, much like your dad's funeral, nare a tear will be shead for you in your passing.

Sincerely, the only person still trying to help you.

:) Susie
