let's keep smiling

I can only thank you all for the waves of love and support I have been feeling this past day or so.
"Stable". Ok, so I'm greedy, and wanted shrinkage, but oh how aware I am that it could have been so much worse. And, the spot on the lymph node, if it were actually cancer - they weren't quite sure -  has gone, so that's a positive too. So, the trial continues, and on we march. This is a good thing! On the way back we were likening the drug to an octopus just spending the last 6 weeks getting its tentacles well and truly fixed on those tumours, and now it's going to spend the next 6 breaking them down...not the prettiest of images, but it was working for us!  We are very thankful right now. D is sleeping, a bit worn out by the anxiety and then the relief, I think.
It's been a day of clear clear blue skies, and sunshine, and the birds were singing as we walked to the unit. I felt that it couldn't possibly be a day for getting bad news.
My love and gratitude to you all.  x  x  x  x
