Let it snow!
I actually would prefer it wouldn't but it does look very pretty. The last forecast says by Sunday and Monday it will be in the 40's. Weird.
Looks like the truth is coming out at our local barber and beauty shops anyway ~ regarding my friend's situation about what the police and news were saying about her. Funny, today I asked another friend of mine if he heard anything about the drinking party underage drinking bust (I know he seldom watches TV and doesn't get the paper) and he said a man was talking about it at the barber ~ defending the mom. And today I went to get my haircut and decided to ask my hairstylist if she had heard anything about it. She heard the correct information and even said "poor woman". The news made her out to be a villain, as did the police. Thankfully, at least, some people are hearing the truth.
As far as my advocacy work goes ~ I am trying to build some courage to call the manager of a well-known singer to see if he might be willing to perform for a fundraising event I have in mind. I wish I had his manager's email address instead. It would be so much easier. I hate making cold calls and I don't want to hear "no". I hope that the person who answers the phone (I know that the manager won't be available) will give him his email address so that I can go into a bit more detail. I have a great idea and I know it will be successful ~ I have to believe that or I won't be able to move forward on it.

Do they actually report arrests like your friend\'s in the local news? Wow! Is it like a \"Police Blotter\" type column?..... But I\'m glad the real info has gotten out.
So now, I sympathize with how hard it will be to make that call. And I think you\'re right, it would be easier to pitch the details in email. Maybe you can get the address somehow when you talk with that manager. Courage........
