Lessons from the dog show

Last night I watched the finals of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and saw all the magnificent dogs.  They were all beautiful, and of course, since I have a samoyed, I was hoping that the samoyed  would win the working class.  No such lucky, butby far  the most inspirational story of the night as far as I was concerned was the story of the dog that a man got off Craig's List.  It needed vet care and had been neglected, but he patched it up and it made it all the way to Westminster.  The love between the dog and his new owner was apparent to everyone.
That is how I think of all of us.  We've been patched up, and we're going strong.  We're all beautfiul and have so much yet to do.
