Left Work Early
I had to leave work early today since I was feeling dizzy. I don't know why. I was just sitting at my desk and I suddenly started to feel like I was going to collapse. I tried working, but my brain was just so fuzzy. It took me a long time to complete stuff that was easy for me normally. I got plenty of sleep last night, so I know it wasn't that. I actually woke up at 9:30am and felt ready to go, but my tooth hurt and I wanted the Vicodin to kick in so I took one and went back to sleep. I then woke up at 11 something and got ready for work. I accidentally fell asleep after I took my shower, so I ended up getting into work on time. I was going to go in early, but the nap made sure I didn't. Oh well. I just don't know what caused me to feel dizzy. I went home and napped for about an hour and after that I felt better. Maybe it was the Vicodin? I normally don't get reactions to it like that, but I know it can cause dizziness. I had eaten, so it's not like I took it on an empty stomach. I just took another one about 30 minutes ago, so I may find out if it was the Vicodin if I get dizzy again.
I'm still on Vicodin, but my tooth is still hurting. Geo is saying I'm making too big of a deal out of it, that people get teeth pulled all the time and it hurts. It's supposed to hurt. I just think I should be feeling a bit better by now, and he thinks it's normal. I don't know. I looked up “dry socket” that Joyce mentioned, and it does seem to fit. I will have to ask my dentist at the follow up meeting if that's something I should be worried about. Then again, if I'm still in pain after like a week or so, I'm just going to go in and see the dentist again anyway. I don't remember how long I was in pain for after I had my wisdom teeth out. It's my whole mouth hurting, though, not just the hole where my tooth was. The teeth on top of the hole, the teeth on the side of the hole, they hurt too. And it's both sides of my mouth. The only teeth that don't hurt are my front ones.
Mood today was good.... For the time I was at work I was enjoying it. It was hard, since I wasn't feeling well, but I managed to have a good time. There was almost nobody there today for some reason. I know there is a flu going around the office, but I haven't caught it yet. I also know that Geo is sick but getting better. I'm surprised that I'm not sick with everyone around me being sick. I'm just waiting to see when I get my turn. When I do, I know that I will be miserable, like anyone who gets sick is. I just hope it doesn't mess up my interview/application for work. I should have turned it in today, but I didn't get a chance to finish it. I just needed the references, but I didn't get a chance to fill that out before I felt like crap and had to go home. I also had to tell one of my references that I had to leave early, and she was the one that was concerned about me not being dependable. I may put someone else down instead of her. I just don't want her to say the wrong things, you know? I don't know what it was that made me have to leave today, but she knows that I'm in pain with my tooth and all. I also got some good news about my stepdad.... he is in decent shape. He might have had a mini stroke on Saturday, but he went to the Urgent Care last night and got a clean bill of health from them. He still has to go in and get the CT scan and the MRI, but he's looking good for now. He went and celebrated with a chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. Go figure.
Speaking of food, I did okay today. I was in my calorie range and everything. It was hard to eat the food, but I did. I had to soften my bagel with coffee and eat tiny bites. I can only open my mouth so far, so I have to eat slower than normal. That's good, though, because I normally inhale my food. I had my wheat mini bagel with peanut butter and jelly for breakfast, french fries for lunch, and garlic brown sugar chicken with pasta salad for dinner. I got this great recipe for the garlic brown sugar chicken off of Spark People and I love it. I've made it for dinner the past 2 nights. It's really easy and it comes out good. I didn't even have to buy any ingredients to make it, I had them all on hand. I might try some of their other recipes now that I know how good they can be. Well, I did make their version of Alfredo sauce and it came out good too. I also want to try their version of boneless barbecue chicken nuggets. It seems easy, but it just takes a while to cook so I have to try it on a night when I have time. I should go through their chicken recipes to see what they have. Hopefully I can find some more good stuff!

Sending wishes that the tooth is getting better! I would think about 2 days and you should have felt better. Usually I have pain from the shots longer than pain from the tooth extraction. So don\'t hesitate to see the dentist about your pain.
I will have search Sparks for the chicken recipe. I love chicken almost anyway you can cook it!
Leaving you wishes for a great weekend.
