Left Elbow

I believe my left elbow is dislocated.  My chiropractor claimed that he put it back into place, but I believe it is the opposite due to my symptoms.  I feel like I have been living off of OTC medicine, but none of it has worked very well to relieve the pain.  The pain is like a 15 on a scale of 0-10, and it is a terrible knife pain, it is HORRIBLE!!!  I can't get my arm completely straight, there is swelling, weakness, and I have no feeling from the elbow down.  I know that I have nerve damage, and am quite certain that something is torn since it has been 3 weeks since the 31st of last month, which means surgery is very possible. I am scheduled to see the Orthapedic doctor on Thursday at 9 a.m., and I am supposed to be there at 8:30 to fill out paperwork.  Thankfully, my insurance is accepted. My work suggested putting me in a sling, but I don't want to do anything until I know for sure on what the doctor wants. I will let you know what the doctor says on Thursday.  Can you please keep me in your prayers?  I sure hope it is not as bad as it is, but its possible because I was supposed to get it taken care of within the first week.
