Lazy Sunday

Hubby and i went out to dinner last night with some friends.....a birthday dinner, was nice but i felt myself disconnecting from the conversations.....it all seemed pointless. Not the best attitude to have at someone else's birthday. I think I covered my lack of interest.
Still very tired.....
Hubby took me out for breakfast....lol we drove all over town trying to find somewhere that wasn't too busy....forgot about the time change, so we hit the church crowds. Then he wanted to go to the future shop to find some ear buds that wouldn't fall out of his ears, did a quick stop for milk and jam...of all things.
Stopped at gnc and picked up some B complex 50.....I am hoping it will give me some pep in my step.
When we got home Hubby helped me put the lights and evergreens in the window boxes....at least this year I got them in before it freezes. I figured while I had his attention I would get him to help with the urn too. So the outside of the house is ready for whatever Chirstmas brings.
I have been crashed on the couch ever since.....I'm so tired but i don't want to go to sleep and mess up my routine, I think that might be some of my problem with the tiredness, so I am going to try to stay on my regular routine and no napping.
I have to call and book another acupuncture appointment for this week. I am going to ask him not to do any of the cupping or massage....it hurts to much. I just want to feel better and no pain....even if he thinks it will help......I want painfree!!!!

It is so strange how pain and illness even if we feel ok at the time, give us a bit of a dissociative, disconnect, perhaps as a coping mechanism, perhaps just Shifting us from the here and now, or perhaps us wanting our here and nows to be more still, quiet and calmer than the usual chatter and hubbub that others like and yet imhave little tolerance for these days. I need tom save my voice, and my energy. Where shall you mediate in the colder weather, bring the hammock inside?

I disconnect in other ways. By watching tv, reading a book, etc. But I have a need to be heard. Always have. I was 5th of 6 girls, and we all fought to be heard. So it\'s an old habit that dies hard. Sometimes the best thing for me to do is to be quiet and listen to what the other person is saying. That\'s why this works so well for me. God Bless, Jean

I hear the just want \"painfree\" and I second that for both of us!
I have noticed that my dissociativeness kicks in when I am tired or not feeling well. And as Tracey said, I need to save my energy for something else (like getting back to the car and home to bed) I think illness makes us all a little sadder at celebrations even on the best of days.
You are in my heart, prayers and sending positive energy your way for relief from the pain and some \"relaxing Brunob moments\".

Peace, Love and Hugs

I hope you are feeling better. I typed a long comment and it vanished. Darn DS. You may be right in finding a different practitioner, it should be a good fit. I want you to have that whole experience.

When are brains are full of stressful things we have to disconnect from what we view as mundane at the time. I totally understand and you have every right to disconnect. It\'s like self protection mode.

I do hope that your load lightens, unfortunately we didn\'t win the lottery. I wish you much peace and brighter days.

Love, Peace and Courage,

Kim
