Lawnmower

I'm kinda proud of myself this morning.  Went out yesterday to try to mow the back yard, Foxy was getting lost in the high grass, and the lawnmower wouldn't start.  I pulled and pulled and nothing.  I knew it had worked last year since I'd had it worked on.  So, after getting tired trying, I gave up.  Well, during the day, I kept thinking about what would not allow it to start.  I remembered that the go handle, that bar you have to hold or the engine turns off, was still in the go position.  I cheat the bar by putting a reusable cable tie, the ones you tie your computer cables together, and the tie still had the bar in place.  Normally, when I finish mowing, I slip it off, but for some reason, it was still in the on position.  So, I figured maybe it being that position may have caused the spark plug to foul.  So, this morning, I loosened the tie and checked the spark plug.  There was a little carbon buildup and I scratched it off with my small pocket knife.  The mower started on the first pull!  I was so proud of myself, I mowed half the back yard.  That was a feat because a good part of the grass, weeds, was 2 feet tall!  Plus, having spent most of the winter on my butt, I didn't want to push myself.  All in all, it was a good start for the day.
