Laughter

I need to laugh more and I cherish people who have a healthy sense of humor and who are also pranksters.

I worked for the Fisher family in various capacities for many years. The Fisher men made me laugh and love and be so happy
I have a ton of Fisher stories.
Best one is this.  One of the Fisher's moved to MD to help with the family business.  He and his wife and kids and I got to be close.  So they moved into their house on a crazy 90 plus degree day and said, let's leave the boxes and go out.  We got back and the house smelled bad.  Turns out his pork farming brother had packed hog bones into their boxes.  (He was a hog farmer).  It was rank.
So Al buried the bones.  And next summer when his sister was on vacation he put the rotting hog into their mailbox, under their deck, next to the pool.  Famiiy challenge, deal with it.

Al and his wife got some friends (we are responsible adults) decided to try to lasso stop signs.  The police got involved for a minute.  His wife was under the truck undoing the chain as the police showed up.  That was pretty epic.

The day one of the kids got loose with his bb gun and shot the hell out of the new patio door by accident.  Holy moley was that a mess and we had some explaining to do.   It was quite a mess.
The day I was making their bed, as was my job.  Jim came home for something and asked me, Amy (I was 22, he was 42)
why will my wife not undress in front of me? I said she is modest and she had polio and that injury from that and it has nothing to do with you.  So he and I make up their bed and I consider the KY Jelly on the table and he says, leave it.  He and I went back to our respective jobs.   He Is My Hero.  I look at his photo every day.    We laughed over it.  He was the best boss ever.  I treasure his widow and children and grandchildren.

Yes, fun indeed I talk to the wives sometimes and we laugh about the old days. We were MUCH younger.
My boss who is deceased was the fun maker. I started to put this one here one day but don\'t think I managed. There are so many and I am mired in my muck.
He was changing the oil in his car, and went inside and cut the bottom of his jeans pockets out and asked his female neighbor to reach down and grab the keys out of his pocket. That was stellar. He was a hoot. He sent me to do a lot of ridiculous things I was not qualified to do but he trusted me to figure it out. He did that with my brother as well. And We Did. It has been since 1982 and I still miss that man. He and his wife and I talked about their marriage, and I wish I took notes on it.
