Last year around this time.
I was upset and still was in shock that my friend had died, I didn't want to believe it even though he had already been gone for 2 years. I had no one to talk to and I honestly don't even know if my biological mom knows any of this happened. I wasn't like this last year because I didn't want to believe that he was gone for good. I never thought that one day it would hurt me so bad. I will never have a normal Valentine's day remembering that I saw his dead body all bruised on thst day, and I watched him get buried. It was a extremly hard day for me and I am not sure it will ever be the same as it was when he was still here. Maybe one day it will be somewhat back to normal and hopefully I wont be grieving as much.

It is hard to know people are gone forever. It's never the same.
For Sure.
I am so sorry you had to experience all of that. When I was just out of high school my boyfriend was in an accident. By the time the search and rescue team found him, he was brain dead. He was put on life support but he didn't survive. It was the worst experience of my life. The pain was unbearable. Although a lot of time has passed my heart still aches for him. I am in a relationship now but I will never ever stop loving him. He died on February 11th.
We never get over losing someone like that. But what helps me is to talk about it. I bring it up in therapy, talk to my friends, write in my journal... Even if I am constantly repeating myself. it doesn't matter. Just getting the words out and into the open helps. *hugs* I'm here for you if you ever me. You'll be ok, I promise.
Thank you.
I lost my husband 12 yrs ago and it still hurts. It's better but I still remember that day like it was yesterday. Yes, talking to people who has gone through the same thing did help me and perhaps it will help you too. Writing in a journal is good advice. Take care!
