Last words
I read a discussion topic "last words". The last words I heard were "I can't talk I am leaking all over the place - gotta go, love you Mum" - after laparoscopic surgery that went terribly wrong. Actually that was after the second surgery. She died during the third. My last words to her were "I love you". At least she died knowing she was loved. It just makes me sad.

Of course she knew she was loved..and she did not need to hear the words.. it is just a blessing for those of us who got the chance to say it to our beloved children... we get to remember saying it..
Hugs to you, she knew you loved her, it sounds like you told and showed her often. Wendy
We all go over the last words we were able to say to our beloved children, time and time again. I am quite certain your daughter knew you loved her. I guess it is just part of missing our children so very much. I have gone over my last conversation with Mark in my mind so many times. The last thing I said to him was that I loved him also. Sandi
We love them...and even if the words were not the last thing spoken...they know. I do know it brings you comfort to hear those words to her and know you spoke them to her...love and hugs...Karen
