Last Day of Vacation

We're now back in Detroit. the last several days have been so great, one day we went to the Detroit Institute of Arts. Great museum. They have an egyptian section, with a mummy and several sarcofigii to see.  They also have a pretty good medieval art section, if you're into the Medici, the arts of Florence, excellent collection.  They have these great items that show the paintings and detail what someone like me who doesn't know much, it teaches me what to look at.  But I most enjoyed the modern art. They have an excellent collection of impressionists, van gogh, picasso, monet, modigliano, several others. This was a very fun day, especially with Nikky, as she loves art and has studied it. Getting her impressions was very satisfying. Then we went to Cedar Pointe, the absolute best collection of roller coasters I've seen. We brought my nephew brad, and he and Nikky feuded the entire time, it was excellent. I even went on all the big coasters, then was hoarse the next day for screaming like a little girl. Then yesterday, we went to Cleveland to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Spent the entire day there, so much to see.  The highlight for me, seeing the original handwritten songs by John Lennon and McCartney, Yesterday, Lucy in the Sky, and In my Life.   They do not allow photography which sucks, but it was great to see.  They also had a great exhibit on the doors.  Just a fantastic day! Today, going to see the new batman, (my niece is an extra, hope to spot her in the hospital scene), and then a party with my old friends.  Then we fly early tomorrow. I'm not ready to start thinking about reality yet, this is still too much fun.  Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all we see,
