lamictal vs lithium

Ok, lately I have been feeling surreal. Having notions of driving and the car flying off the road. Just not feeling myself. I think its the lamictal. I was kinda chatty the last time I saw the therapist and the therapist and doctor suggest lithium and I refused it. I can't stand to be snowed in and have thick speach. That is so not what I want for my life. I always joke with them and say no meds that make me drool. But lithium is a tell all med. You can always tell when someone is on it. Call it my pride if you want but I can't stand the stuff.
