Lack of Friends

Can anyone help me in figuring out how to invite friends?
None of my usual friends have this awful disease and certainly wouldn't want to chat about it.  I have one friend who is disabled but she had a very destructive stroke and cannot manage the computer any more because of the parts of her brain it destroyed.  Her case is really sad cause she has a Masters Degree in Systems Analysis from Carnegie Mellon here in Pittsburgh.  Other friends my age don't do computers at all.
Will anyone volunteer to be my friend or do I have to actually find people who have this disease?

I just accepted your request as a friend and that is how you do it. No, you don\'t have to stay in the COPD group but it is a good support for you in your management of the disease. I have learned so much here and what I didn\'t learn in facts, I learned in experience. that is sometimes as important as medical facts and I think is the backbone of a support group.

Don\'t be afraid to reach out to others in the group. they will accept or not but remember, you don\'t need a big group of \"friends\" just a few who you can connect with.
I don\'t use the chat feature as I dropped the meebo feature that allows that. Too much discord between the commericals and the browser I use.

Have a beautifl day,
Anna
