Hopeful, as the years go by these holidays will be happy occasions again.
Surprised, my daughter called and apologized for not checking to see how I was doing yesterday.
Awestruck, no one has ever done that before.
Maybe things are turning the corner.

This is really a big deal that my daughter called and said that. She has been down in the dumps for several months but seems to be coming out of her current bout with depression. I hate seeing her down in the pit like that and I hate that disorder.
