Labor and Delivery Classes
Things are getting really close and I want to attend a Labor and Delivery Class however its $100 which I just dont have right now with paying all the bills myself on a part time job and paying for school.. things are so tight right now and I want to do this natural (or at least try)... any suggestions?

where is this class offered? I\'m offered a birthing/breastfeeding class for free through my hospital. it\'s free as long as that\'s the hospital i plan on using for my birth. Maybe check out other options that aren\'t so expensive? Good luck!
Thanks unfortunately that is the hospital where i am delivering its $100 for a 4 week class havent been able to locate anything free or even half of that cost
Maybe try another hospital? Our hospital ended up being the cheapest but we were looking at other hospitals due to scheduling conflicts and surprised by the prices. $100 is a lot. :(
Ya I did unfortunately its the same price at all the hospitals and this is the only one with a class still available that isn\'t filled
Hello! That seems strange to charge for a L&D class at a hospital. Could you talk to someone at the hospital about a voucher? Or maybe your insurance to see if they\'ll cover the fee. The L&D class I took before my first and it was informative but most of it was videos (which you could find on babycenter.com). If you are thinking natural I know my hospital offered a La Maze only class for those trying to go natural. I know La Maze sounds silly but the breathing techniques are helpful for pain management. I haven\'t heard of free classes by me, but as a substitute maybe the library has a book or DVD of lamaze practices? My hospital charges $250 for the 10 hours of classes; they also offer an online one with videos, but for the same price. I looked around but none were cheaper (again, in the NJ/NY area, so things maybe are more?). There are other programs that are completely natural beside Lamaze, like Bradley, but a lot of them are really expensive (like 600 or more).
I am in NY as well the least I found so far is for $100 and its not even at the hospital I\'m delivering at because the one i am going to deliver at has no spots for classes till June not gonna help I am due in May
