Lab report

I went for lab today, the Dr. called and my white count dropped some more so he has decreased my shot to 90 m for my shot on Sat. I am feeling emotionally much better than I did on Sunday. That was not fun!! Today I was very weak at times. I go for lab next Tuesday and see the Dr. Take Care!!!

Rynette, By next shot you will find a difference and feel much better, compared to when you did 180ml, as prescribed.
My God you look so tiny in your pics, why would he have put you on such a strong dose of interferon.
Oh well, it\'s still early in the game, I am positive you will be at zero, upon your week 4 PCR.
Keep me posted on your next lab report.
Do you know how to read them?
If you need help let me know, I am here for you my love.

Hi Rynette
I had the same problem and it is not good for you to have your white blood cell count so low. You must keep very clean (wash hands a lot) and really should be careful when interacting with others. I was given Neupogen injections daily to every other day. This brought my white blood cell count right back up and I did not have to lower the recommended treatment dosage. This drug is very expensive and sometimes difficult to get your insurance or medical group to prescribe because it is usually only given to chemo patients. Just a suggestion not to be alarmed this is more precautionary I think than any thing else. My doctors felt it was important that is why I thought to mention it. Stay strong and God Bless...
