La Rona is getting to me big time...

I am filled with sad.  Seriously, I haz big sadz.  :(

I've been fighting the loneliness and monotony of safer-at-home since mid-March, but for some reason this week it is smacking me around and spitting on me for good measure.

My self-esteem is in the crapper - for no particular reason other than my brain telling me I'm not good enough.  I feel like I am not smart enough to finish school and I feel like the summer class I'm taking is destroying me - even though I have an A in the class.  I was hired to be a tutor, but my brain keeps saying that I was only hired because my boss feels sorry for me.  Like... what the heck?

Oh, and my brain LOVES telling me (every day) how I'm old and going to die any second.

It's super fun.  Lemme tell ya.

Well I hope you’re feeling better. Limited socialization can pull up all sorts of insecurities. You’re feeling lonely because it’s a lonely space in time in the universe with this virus but your brain seems to be attaching the feeling to old feelings of loneliness.

Silly ole brains.

Thankfully, thoughts, just like seasons and people and places, are always changing.
