Well I received bad news this week and I am really struggling. I had some testing done in 06 for cognitive issues and now in 08 and I have gotten moderately worse. The neuro has put me on the exelon patch suppose to help with memory and for me to be able to retrieve information I have learned. She says it is because of my stroke and I had a tbi in 2004, she also believes parkinsons is playing a huge roll also. I am so depressed over this stuff. I am only 43 and I have been through hell and back medically. Starting with cancer and stroke etc etc. I know that I do not have it as bad as it could be, however; I am still angry. I am still trucking on with wondering where will my brain be in a few years. Oh yeah this med is suppose to slow down my memory loss. I have been placed on anxiety meds to help with speech and movement issues as well. I am also on other meds including antidepression meds. They have tested me forward and back to make sure the memory issues are not anything else. Well I guess I am done venting.
