Endoscopic resection of esophageal cancer was widely spread and several innovations were developed to prevent post-ESD esophageal stricture as mentioned above. Recently measured dose mean lineal energy values (y–D) ̅at UMCG were compared to LETd values calculated for delivered plan by Raystation (v5.99) treatment planning system in a head and neck anthropomorphic phantom and the relative biological effectiveness of the beam are presented.
