They’ll be completely lovely one day and the next you’ll be wondering what the hell? There often isn’t anything obvious that will explain the change of attitude – something isn’t right. They might be prickly, sad, cold or cranky and when you ask if they are ill or something, they won't answer at all (super rude) OR, the answer will be ‘nothing’ – The cold shoulder. Over what? No one knows. When this happens, you might find yourself making excuses for them. Why go through this at all. AVOID them permanently.
They’ll manipulate.
Toxic people have a way of sending out the vibe that you owe them something. They also have a way of taking from you or doing something that hurts you, then maintaining they were doing it all for you. This is particularly common in workplaces or relationships where the balance of power is out. ‘I’ve left that six months’ worth of filing for you. I thought you’d appreciate the experience and the opportunity to learn your way around the filing cabinets.’ The truth, they are hoping you will be overwhelmed by this and it will destroy your confidence or destroy your day if you are on the way somewhere else. Pure toxic.
They never apologise.
They’ll lie before they ever apologize, so there’s no point knowing them at all. They’ll twist the story, change the way it happened and retell it so convincingly that they’ll believe their own nonsense.

this whole week has been odd. usually its august that is like this. last year it was june. its not even june yet. wth? so she says that they were done mid afternoon with packing the truck thursday at the house that just sold up the lane. so what the hell is going on? reminds me of when the evil step sister decades ago would borrow a car. she would then make copies of the key and buy a wig to look like the person she borrowed the car from, just in case she was seen or stopped.
she wouldn't return the car in five minutes as promised and she would continue "borrowing" said car(s) permanently - like to her the word borrow/use is a permanent word not a temporary one. like "toddler rules". what is your's is mine and what is mine is mine. she was the worst person i've ever known. no boundaries at all in her behavior and no manners.
to her the word "borrow" meant own, she thinks she owns it now because you said she could use it or borrow it for five minutes one day. wth? and she is wearing a wig saying she is the person that owns the car, if she is stopped by the police or anyone else. total weirdo. didn't meet another one like that until christiner, who did it with BANKS and stealing people's paychecks at that law firm in manhattan, at least she was prosecuted! LOTS of shit like that.
then the evil step would try to convince people that the person who owns the car doesn't want charges against her. when this happened to me, i told them i want maximum charges against her and don't let her get to you. she's nuts - she is trying to bully - criminals are ALWAYS bullies.
its bad enough dealing with this crap here and there, how do people do it when they have a sibling who is mental 100% of the time. you can't possibly live unscathed if you are living in a household like that. even worse if its anyone you are depending on who is mental. how do people deal with that?
I know bda said she and her parents and brother had planned a family suicide because their antics/crime had gotten so out of hand they even knew it themselves and obviously the law wasn't going to take care of it - every time they got caught and got away with it, the getting away with it made all of them get worse and worse. her mother had told her daughter in law to take the kids and move back to chicago/minnesota area immediately before it was too late. the daughter in law couldn't get a transfer from her job that quickly, so it dragged on for a few more years (and how many dead in that interim? seriously?)
so i come home thursday night and my neighbor's car is in my driveway!! wth? no note. nothing explaining. so i figure either he fell asleep or they were packing very late at the house at the end of the lane and he was afraid the car would get hit by the truck as that is how the whole thing started. the truck was afraid he would smash his car so i called him to tell him he had to move his car from the corner before something happened.
in the morning the car is still in my driveway?! very strange. i have to leave, so i let it go. i get home the next night and the car is STILL in my driveway. however, his lights are on in his house, so i call him and i'm like, your car is parked in my driveway. he turns out his lights and no response. the next morning, the car is STILL in my driveway!
then i'm freaked. i call p and i'm like, i can't tow his car he lives next door. so around lunch time i call him again and this time he moves the car. the next day i ask him if he is ill or what. why the hell? he IGNORES me?! really? so i ask the woman and find out there was no reason for it to be parked there at all they finished packing the truck in the AFTERNOON on thursday. wth?! the former owner of the house up the lane had the same problem with his car in HER driveway. the guy on the corner had the same problem with him parking on the grass by their house which is a few houses down (i think that is legal though) and the guy that has the apartments said he used to park in the apartment parking lot, even when the apartments were rented and the space was needed for the apartments. what in the world.
ran into a guy doing work for the guy on the corner - he was on Letterman in 1988 for stupid pet tricks and telling me about elephant grass in nam and 2 step vipers and rats and crocodiles, he kind of looks like a younger letterman but with curly hair. the people in that house are a trip. he claims the same thing, that they used to be famous. wonder. also ran into a young guy living by the brick house on the water. he was headed for the beach. i think the voice is the same as the one that makes noise at 3 a.m. walking passed here sometimes. creepy. wonder if it is. when w had mentioned someone young living over there i had no idea who he was talking about. but why would he walk down this street, it makes no sense at all - that house isn't near this street, its around 3 blocks over. it will be easy to find out if he is local. if they put a camera on this corner it would help as well.
so after i ask him if he is sick, assuming there is a reason, young male voice again, except this time in his driveway. in the end i'm going to have to call j and let him wire the place. this is like when i was being stalked by valL and bogen and i guess anyone else they could hire to stalk. total weirdos. what was crazy, was valL was stalking even when i wasn't on tv. patL told me about it a couple of years later when he was helping me get my stuff out of storage back then. he says, "she brings me in her bedroom and wants to play RECORDINGS of you on the phone" - he doesn't even know this girl, and i'm waiting for pat in her living room. that is illegal wire tapping. i couldn't believe it. i actually knew her from work. then carol's father I.D.'d her as one of the girls who broke into their condo. i never gave her carol's address so how did she end up there? cypress bend is a HUGE condo complex. all stalkers are crazy people. they're actually dangerous.
so then being taken again, adt was here because of the alarm and the guy says to me, he is waiting to see if it goes off again. he waits a full half hour and i am thinking how nice you are to do such a great job and he is talking and talking. then he wants me to SIGN it a half hour later on his smart phone. and i realize he did that, to get paid more. duh. can't believe i fell for that. he was here like FIVE minutes, not 30. grrrr.
