Knowing is half the battle

As I sat here a week ago contemplating what I was going to do with the rest of my life. I felt an anxiety that I had not felt before. It was as if I was dying slowly inside. A relationship that was not good for me was just ending and I felt like my life was ending. I happened to be on Amazon looking at self help books when I came across a book on Codenpendency. I immediately ordered the book. Its called How to break your addiction to a person" by Howard Halpern. A few days later I got the book and started devouring it. I saw myself in those examples mentioned in the book. Finally I knew what was wrong with me. But there is still so many questions: Where do I go now? What do I do about it? How can I change something that has been a part of me for so long? I started by searching online and I found a Coda meeting. Although its not that close to where I live.  I have to try to attend because I have no support and I feel as though going to a group would put me on the right track in getting the support that I need.  I also foun the Daily Strength Website. I am hopeful that I will find a support group here as well among others who are going through the same thing that I am.
