Knock-Knock
I got a knock at my door Saturday night. I opened it to my neighbor, Virginia, and her sister. They held 2 big boxes decorated with Christmas wrapping paper. One held food while the other held presents. The food included an 8 pound frozen turkey, a 4 pound roll of deer summer sausage, dressing mix, rice dishes, canned sweet potatoes, and marshmellows. I'm kinda leary of the summer sausage. Never been a fan of venison. Helped my dad cut up too many deer. Anyway, I won't look a gift horse, er deer, in the mouth. With the help I've been getting with food, there are still some things I use and eat that I'm not getting. Well, Virginia has come to the rescue again. I made up a list and she shopped for me this afternoon. Except for some things I got wrong on the list or forgot, I'm pretty much stocked. I'm so lucky to have someone like her right next door..

I want to trade neighbors with you. That is so nice. I love summer sausage, the homemade kind. So nice you are getting help from your neighbor. I wish you a very Merry Chirstmas for you and Kit. Take care and I am so happy that you seem to be in better spirits.
You are lucky to have an awesome neighbor like her.
