Kindergartens Community Services

Educators draw on children's strengths, developmental needs, and interests as guiding factors when planning learning activities. The Early Years Learning Framework serves as the cornerstone of our curriculum design, with the National Quality Standards (NQS) also informing development of our service's policies, practices and curriculum. We strive to provide a supportive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that will foster solid foundations for every child’s lifelong success. Charlotte is almost five years old and can’t wait for today’s carpentry experience - she loves building things!
Our large rooms include kindergarten pakenham interactive whiteboards, Apple programs on iPads, and plenty of natural resources. Our longstanding team of educators and teachers is dedicated to creating a safe and happy environment, maintaining a calm and positive attitude. Every Thursday and Friday, our 3 and 4-year-olds go on bush walks and community excursions. As part of the daily fee, children enjoy weekly sign language, Hey Dee Ho, and yoga classes.

Little Stars Early Learning & Kindergarten Pakenham provides high-quality education and care to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We do encourage families to book a tour of our centres to view our environments and experience the Bambini difference. Today we welcomed Rebecca and Kate from our School Readiness Allied Health team for a meet and greet at our centre.
Additionally, our programs actively promote the message of environmental consciousness and sustainability. It is our continued mission and vision to provide an educational, learning and home away from home nurturing environment for all children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Our Pathways to School curriculum fosters a love of reading and strong language skills through storytelling, vocabulary building, and phonological awareness. With personalised support, children develop critical thinking and communication skills.

The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a government-funded support that helps families reduce the out-of-pocket cost of childcare. At Little Stars, we encourage families to apply through myGov before starting care. The amount you receive depends on your family income, activity level (work, study, or volunteering), and the type of care your child attends.
Erin is the passionate Service Manager at Story House Early Learning Pakenham, with over 21 years of experience in the early childhood sector and a Diploma in Children’s Services. Her love for early education began at just four years old when she told her kindergarten teacher she wanted to be just like her. She believes every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and inspired to grow, making each day a joyful step in their learning journey. Our team of passionate and experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Our early learning centre offers a Government-funded kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof.
We also recommend using this Child Care Subsidy Calculator to generate an estimate of your new subsidy payments. Our high quality resources and play spaces support the best outcomes for learning. All our children enjoy a balance of play-based learning and intentional teaching, with indoor and outdoor programs.

Your child will need a backpack or bag, a refillable water bottle, a change of clothes, a wide-brim sun hat and their favourite toy, which can help them settle in. For kindergarten your child will need morning tea and lunch (dependent on the length of the program day). Due to high demand for places in both pre-Kinder (K3) and Kinder (K4) at Chairo, some of our programs are full, or almost full, a year or more in advance. To reduce the risk of disappointment, interested families are encouraged to consider applying as soon as possible. All children who turn three or four by the April 30, 2025, and meet the Victorian Government criteria are entitled to 15 hours per week of free kindergarten.
Our dedicated team of highly experienced Early Childhood Teachers brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to best practices in early education. We foster strong connections, celebrate each child’s potential, and provide a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to grow. If you are looking for the most loving, caring and fun childcare then look no further. I would highly recommend Aspire Early Education Pakenham to care for your most precious gift.

In our kindergarten room, our curriculum is tailored to accommodate your child’s individual learning and development needs, which helps boost their enthusiasm, motivation, and willingness to learn. Through structured learning experiences, our Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers and educators are committed to helping your child gain the necessary skills for a successful transition into school and beyond. Our daycare and early learning centre is a convenient choice for local families in Pakenham, Officer, Beaconsfield, Officer South, and Clyde North in Melbourne. Creative Garden Pakenham offers long day care and a kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with extended hours to suit busy families.
Kindergarten children also go excursions throughout the year based on monthly themes and learning goals. Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten centres frequently run engaging and exciting excursions throughout the year. Aspire Pakenham runs regular excursions to the local park, local primary school, Pakenham library, Myuna farm and more. These excursions further bolster the learning of students in every age group, as they align with Aspire's curriculum and the interests of the children. Our Pakenham service will be a modern, purpose-built early learning, kindergarten and childcare service with an abundance of play areas for inquisitive minds to develop their social, physical, and creative skills. These resources help reinforce learning themes, encourage parent involvement, and create meaningful opportunities for connection at home.
Our ARTS curriculum empowers children to be creative and persistent using real-world tools, open-ended materials, and imaginative play. Through music, movement, and drama, children retell stories, collaborate, and express themselves. These experiences build strong language, literacy, and creative skills both in the classroom and the wider community.

The Learning Sanctuary Pakenham provides centre-based care for up to 125 approved spaces. ⚠️ Families must nominate only one kindergarten provider to receive the Free Kinder subsidy. Our amazing in-house chef, Amandi, creates fresh, homemade meals every day - from a hearty breakfast to delicious afternoon tea and late snacks.
G8 Education acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands we live, work and play on each day. The Victorian Government provides Free Kinder funding to our ELC, not directly to families. This means that Free Kinder will be credited on your invoice and you won't be out of pocket. Our centre is next door to Edenbrook Secondary College and John Henry Primary school where we also run an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service. My daughter goes on excursions often and she comes home excited to share her stories of the day.
