Camp Australia – Oakleigh South Primary School OSHC is operated by Camp Australia Pty Limited, which contributes 4% to the total available child care capacity in Victoria. The walls of the centre, including the external envelope, room partition walls and high corridor walls use 105mm thick XLAM CLT. Whereas the XLAM CLT used for the roof varied between 105mm to 150mmthick, depending on the span. All XLAM CLT panels used in the project were constructed from untreated radiata pine boards. In total, 257 individually prefabricated CLT panels were installed, with the structure complete in just eleven days.

Our Flying Start to School Kindergarten learning program continues throughout the morning with planned experiences for pretend play, reading or exploring puzzles together, before children are then invited to enjoy morning tea. Our program continues with opportunities for children to explore and discover in both our indoor and outdoor environments. We know children and families like routine, so you will always receive a warm welcome each morning and an invitation to stay for breakfast. We have a dedicated building for children in our zero-two years of age and a dedicated building for children aged three-five years of age. The size of our service also provides greater opportunities for families to connect with one another and for children to build relationships with their educators and peers without feeling overwhelmed.
