Kidney Stones Slow Series of Stories

Hey! Yah, I spent all day Tuesday in the emergency ward coping with a couple of kidney stones and the necessary tests. I have been plagued with pain that has been getting worse on the lower left side of my abdomen and finally Monday night - Tuesday morning it got to the point where I told my Mom the night before if it got to, that I would do something. So after weighing everything I hopped one of the first buses of the morning to the local Eagle Ridge hospital and checked in to emergency. Well it was agonizing and I guess because I use meditation to cope with pain they didn't offer any pain killers until I finally asked for them around 2 pm... and they got some as well as letting me know the results of the CT scan and all... I could go home to pass the two stones, but see the Doctor soon to get some blood work done on kidney function and to bring the two stones to him to get analysed. Anyhow feeling really yucky I have posted an article out of my stockpile from a year ago.Metro-Vancouver Transportation - West Coast Express Train Ridership Up!   Later!~ Darrell

Oh my gosh is right! Ouch too! I\'ve had them and they were awful, but I can imagine that for men it\'s much, much worse! You poor thing! I\'ll be praying for those little things to pass quickly and as painless as possible. God Bless You Darrell!

I\'m glad, but surprised that you were able to work on an article all while going thru this too! Good job on the article! Hugs~N~Love, Kim

I am not sure if it is that much worse for guys... except if they have to go in with the cytoscope. The urethra is so much bigger than the ureters that once the stone gets to the bladder, it is downhill all the way.

The second smaller stone is still giving me issues and nearly has me off my feet at times. Yesterday if I didn\'t know better I\'d think I was having a stroke!
