Keeping my self control
My husband has his own business, and part of his business is setting up tents for different events. Today he had to set up a tent and he needed my fourteen year old son to help him this afternoon after baseball practice. His other two employees were keeping his store open. Well, on the way home he began arguing with me about how he did not want to do that today. He wanted to go with a friend to the mall. He then went on to tell me that grandma told him that when he was fourteen he could get a work permit and his father would have to pay him minimum wage for any hours that he worked. My mother was a huge part of the estrangement with my daughter. I have tried to move on from this because I do not want to perptuate the cycle, but it is everything I can do to keep from calling her and telling her a thing or two. This is not something I do, but maybe I should begin.

My opinion-yes talk to your mom-I would sit down face to face if possible and explain how her involment is a problem and you dont need a repeat--just what I think-hope you get this worked out--hugs jen
