keeping my fingers crossed and praying - of course

Oldest son has a second interview at a law firm where he lives ~ so we're hoping! He has a political science/history/political science degree and this would be for a paid internship program so if he gets it ~ it may help see if he is interested in this field still.  Anyway, his first interview was on the phone and he thought he didn't do well.  He said he felt that he may have sounded too anxious and that he stumbled over his words.  I told him not to worry ~ and that he's too hard on himself. And look - he has a 2nd interview!
Since our son has gained so much weight ~ I fear that he doesn't have nice fitting clothes for it.  I told him to not worry about the cost of having to get decent clothes ~ that we'd be happy to pay for them but he says he's "fine".  I doubt that at all.  I know how much he hates shopping but ~ I guess if he wants the job enough he'll do it.  I am trying to let it go ~ however - he's said it himself many times that he needs to be prodded to do what he procrastinates on so ~ I will gently say that it might be worth taking the time tomorrow to buy some clothes AND THEN let it go!
Went to church today and it felt good.  I missed all of October and then some.  Haven't had a big break like that in a long time.  Today I was thinking so negatively about many things as I was getting ready for church.  So I prayed and asked God to help me get rid of my angst and judgmental thoughts about some things that bothered me about our church and pastor.  Wow - at church it was as if the dear Lord was speaking to me directly and all those negative thoughts melted away.  God is good.
