Keeping a humble spirit
I’ve been spending a lot of time during my pregnancy meditating on the Word of God. Searching my heart for revelation. I sympathize for those who don’t believe in a risen savior. I think a lot of it attributes to the fact that they had such awful experiences from life, they are literally hopeless and faithless. To me, it’s the complete opposite. Life has shown me so many trials and tribulations, all I have is faith and hope to keep me going. In this season, God has blessed me with family and friends who genuinely support me. I’ve learned that its not about how many people you have in your camp. You just need a few good people to pray and celebrate you. I’m thankful that I have also found this with my daily strength sisters. I’ve learned the true definition of friendship. I thank God for a personal encounter with Him. In turn, I try and be a faithful wife, mother, friend, daughter, and sister. And to try and do the right thing in all circumstances. God has also been dealing with me in being humble. Never to be boastful. I have battled the spirit of jealousy and I thank God for help me in that area of shortcoming. When I see/hear people boast, especially on social networking really troubles my spirit. I do believe you should share what God has done for you. But always acknowledge the blesser and operate in love. I think people can sense and appreciate when people act in love and sincerity.

hope2012, your post has been a nice read. Esp. the part about how your trials and tribulations have caused you to cling even more to the Almighty God...and not throw you in the opp. direction! It has been the same with me.
My heart hurts for every woman who has lost her baby and I never knew how God could connect me with women across continents with just this in common. I have been praying, ever since I lost my own, for angel mommies and also for women with child....who are SO in need of prayers. God\'s working in me in a way I never imagined, and I\'m positive, it\'s with many others, too!
Peacejoylove, you have been in my thoughts and prayers it is so good to hear from you! I\'m just learning to be very sensative b/c you never know what the next person is going through. I know from experience. Latley I have been seeing social networking i.e. facebook, being abused when I dont believe that is the intent of social networking. Satin even is trying to take that over.
While I can admire your deep faith, I can at least assure you that my lack of faith has nothing to do with anything that has happened to me in life. And I obviously don\'t speak for everyone, but your sympathies are not needed. If loving God works for you, that\'s cool. Doesn\'t work for me, and that\'s my choice.
I am very happy that you are expecting! I\'ve only been able to read people\'s entries here and there, and I was pleasantly surprised when you said you\'re meditating during your pregnancy. (Pleasantly surprised at the pregnancy part lol) i hope that everything is going well, and that you\'ll have a healthy wailing baby in your arms before you know it :)
What nice words
