Keep on keeping on

After last night's drama, I'm doing surprisingly well. My CNS acts oddly after stressful situations. I get chills and then hot flashes, night sweats and my breathing gets shallow. I've learned to give myself a break and rest, do deep breathing and switch to light-hearted books and viewing until back to "normal". At present,I'm going to do my bible study, then curl up with children's books for the afternoon. I'm a book reviewer and I'm out of review books this week, save an epic fantasy on discs which has been a little daunting. I have a huge amount of kids books on my kindle, get them for free; I like free, ha ha, especially with the medical bills I'm carrying; so I have many lovely books to choose from and review. Find my happy place, find my happy place...Nancy Drew, Dr. Seuss, Roald Dahl...etc,etc. Thinking of posting inspirational quotes on my status that apply to my day. Loved the Helen Keller quote for today, thinking of what she and others like her have gone through makes my pain insignificant by comparison. Suffering is a human condition and I've learned we all have something to bear. No one is immune. Food for thought.
