Just Weepy and Hurting
Today as for the past week I have just been weepy and hurting. I can not hardly walk at all and it's not getting better. I am so sensitive to medications that have the side effect of drowsiness. Tramadol is the only med that has that side effect but does the EXACT OPPOSITE to me. I broke down and took half a vicodin today after work just to try and get some relief.
These days, I haven't been looking forward to anything and depression has a good grip on my soul. I used to be very active, I loved walking my dogs, planting flowers, planting a small garden, painting, photography. I was always busy. Then fibro got me and now RA is totally running crazy on my knees and the tops of my feet. I am exhausted all the time and since Sniffles passed, I just can't seem to get my heart into anything. The last picture I took was of my beloved Boston Terrier, Sniffles. God I miss him so much!!! I feel like the RA has robbed me of what I was able to do, robbed me of my last few days with Sniffles and the Dr. doesn't care, he seen how I was walking, knew that I had went to the ER and knew that I have Fibro too. He seen how swollen my legs and knees are and all he prescribed was Methotrexate. Told me I COULD NOT TAKE homeopathic herbs, which had started working in helping with my pain level. He didn't change anything else...800 mg ibuprophen 3 times a day and Tramadol 50 mg 2 tabs 4 times a day - that has been my dosages for at least 8 years now.
Is this something I should be questioning the Rheumatologist about? Am I over reacting? I honestly don't know what to think and do anymore...I just want some relief from this pain...
