Just want to tell my sisters don't let anyone steal your joy & dreams
Its funny, how the devil try to through distractions and roadblocks on your way to your destiny. It just reconfirms, that I’m closer to my breakthrough and aint no devil in hell is going to stop me from getting it! I just had to remind myself of the God that I serve. By God’s grace, I am 28 wks:) I still think of my daily strength sisters often. Last week was a really hard week for me between work, relationships and social media, but here I am. I have a “friend” who had a baby a few months ago. I thought things would have gotten a little easier since I’m expecting now, but our relationship is still strained b/c she has to make everything about her. I learned that its not always about you. So this is a relationship that I am fine w/ nurturing from a distance. Also, considering I have experienced some losses in the past, I have been very guarded w/ my pregnancy. It has been a very personal journey. I am over the moon happy. I have received a few comments on fb questioning why I have not posted anything on fb about my pregnancy? Is it a secret? I shouldn’t be surprised where the comments are coming from knowing this individuals character. Social media has become a place for people to meddle and I choose to have no parts in that. It has been a place for people to boast, and I boast in nothing but the Lord. All I can do is laugh, b/c devil if that’s all you got don’t even waste your time trying to steal my joy. This is my season and my time to be blessed.

amen!!!
I found my pregnancy too personal to post all over facebook. I have friends who get epidurals and spend their labor posting \"5cm! Halfway!\" And things like that. NO ONE needs to know that! I was furious and hurt when i found out my SIL put updates about my labor on HER facebook...and people commenting writing \"i\'m so excited for you!\" First, i didn\'t even know who these people were!second...excited for HER??
Sorry, mini-rant. Lol. As for your friend...like you said, be there from a distance. You should be totally focused on you and your family and God. It\'s good of you to still be there for her...i would probably get annoyed and stop trying!
I am glad to know that I\'m not crazy and you ladies can relate:)
Mmmm... I understand when you say \'it\'s a personal journey\'. I can related to that entirely...especially so, after a loss. Hold firm to the peace Jesus gives to you, sister and let nothing bother you. You decide how much you want the world to know about your pregnancy. At the same time, as women of faith, let\'s be more bearing of other\'s shortcomings...that\'s what Jesus would want us to do. Pray for those who bring you harm and break your heart...you will find you have received new graces by doing that.
PS: Is that why u no adding me on FB?!?!?!?!!? :( I dont visit DS that often, but I really want to stay connected with my DS sisters....and FB seems like the place.
