Just trying to understand.

The gentleman I'm helping, is doing very well. He still has some pains, but at least he can walk around again. He also started driving his own car! Things are working out very well for him, because on the 20 th February he will be moving to Pretoria, (a warmer city), to stay with his brother and sister-Iin-law on their small farm. It is best for him to be close to his relatives, instead of living on his own.

And then my job will come to an end. I don't quite know where I'll go then, back to my son, or stay with my daughter for a while. My granddaughter,  Lee-Ann, is still struggling with her diabetes. Whenever she gets infections like colds, flu, bladder infection, etc, her body does not show any of the symptoms. The only way to know that something is wrong, is when her bloodsugar stays high and she develops keytones in her system. I just don't understand why these things happen to her! I am so afraid of losing her also!!!

Lately I am so deeply depressed again.............my life does not make any sense to me, I just don't understand!!! I break down and cry over simple things, lose my temper and get so upset about stupid things that I have to take medication to get calm again. The only place I feel safe is in my own little cucoon, away from the rest of the world!! Maybe I am going crazy............

Oh my dear. You are not going crazy. You are grieving. It sometimes feels like it though.
Wishing you love and peace.

Remember to be kind to yourself. This journey is only one day at a time for all of us. Hugs, Kathy

Gentle care... It feels as if life is changing once again and I know that for me that can really bring on all kinds of feelings too. There is not one thing that is crazy about you in how you are feeling. Grief and loss are a messy business and in the midst there are those times of hope and feeling lifted. Just remember that when you feel like a crazy one that you have each of us right by your side who are just as crazy.

May you continue to find your way and if it\'s by leaving lots of breadcrumbs so that we don\'t get lost so be it. Whatever it takes.

Loving care dear Adelene ,and trust that you will know when to take action and when to cocoon. Both are needed and both are totally okay.

Andelene, I am so sorry to hear this job is ending for you. I know that changes became much harder for me after Joshua died. It seemed every little thing could set me off too. Sometimes it was better for me to keep busy and sometimes it was better for me to stay in bed with the covers over my head>. Only you can tell for sure. Just keep us posted on how you are doing and how little Lee-Ann is doing. I will be saying prayers for both of you, dear friend. Now that I know what loss is, it is even more scary to worry about loss again. I just have to put my faith in God that He will take care of me and things when/if it happens.
Sending tight hugs,
Leda
