just touching base

Been away from the computer for a few days, haven't had a chance to sign in.Kids have been home....Jeffrey had Friday off work and he likes the computer so I didn't stand a chance of getting on :-)Actually, I was catching up on my rest. I had a few rough nights last week when I either just couldn't get to sleep for various reasons (one night was a migraine, another was a stomach ache) or I woke up repeatedly. So by Saturday I was exhausted, I didn't have to be anywhere for a change and no one required me to be coherent---- so I let myself sleep in!And sleep I did! Both Saturday and Sunday! Till  early afternoon. Haven't done that for a really long time, especially without interuptions. The gods must have been on my side because the phone didn't even ring! Usually if I think I'm going to get a break the phone won't stop or one of the kids just has to talk to me, etc. So this weekend I caught up on some rest, I watched some DVD's with my kids and puttered around my house a bit.I 've got plenty to do, but I took a weekend off from thinking about it.So it's Monday now and I'd better get on with getting back to it. Just thought I'd touch base. Hope you all are well. TTFN
