Just Stuck
Not moving forward. Really just spending the days procrastinating and doing very little. I realize the questions about depression that you get asked about lack of interest, not wanting to go out, even keeping up with hygiene and everyday activities do sll spply to me for the majority of the time.
I spend time trying to imagine things I never got to experience (thinking a simple dream will satisfy my curiosity) or had circumstances been so very different, but I cannot even muster up that. Spending time only with required appts. I am just so stuck again.

Well just pull that head out of that bottom of yours....Wait for it....you will hear a loud Pop....LOL hehehe Kim I understand.... you are terrified about health and also social aspects of life....put health first and let social life fall in place when the body is ready to have a social life....but yes depression is really a bite in that cute ass......hehehe.....I have issue right now of depression too....I do not shower regularly unless needed for a unmentioned reason.....I do still get out of bed daily but can crawl back in time or two per week....or more....
I notice that I am depressed because of money issues and those create no desire to go out to spend money...yet I sit at home and spend it anyway.....I do not go to many of my AA meetings....that is one way I can really tell I am depressed....
I get into that rut too. Staying home and not wanting to
Leave my apartment for any reason, even though it looks nice outside thru the window. I’ll even wait til
It’s dark out to take the trash outside and check the mailbox so I don’t have to run into anyone I understand that depression all too well
I know it’s so so hard Especially if you’re not feeling well. ! Just try to push yourself outside on a nice day and sit awhile in the sun it does wonders for mood or if stuck inside., maybe work on a jigsaw puzzle or coloring book or watch a series that looks good on netflix. It’s so hard I know. Call a friend or family member for a chat. I hope you feel better soon. ((((hugsss)))
Hugs to you. Depression is so common with health issues. I am not as depressed or lonely in March as January but I am having a hard day injury pain wise and I can sort of feel it coming on, that old sad, sorry for myself, depressed feeling. I am not sleeping well either.
Can you start to take a 10 minute walk per day, just get outside and move your body? I did this all weekend and now my injuries hurt more and I got the lecture to cut back on the over doing from the PT. LOL.
Sending you love, take care of you.
I know this sounds bad, but doing very little sounds good to me. Seems like I'm always racing. I even race through my meals. I slow down long enough to catch a few hours of sleep. I use to tease my mom...kinda in a jealous way...."must be nice to have a jigsaw puzzle be the biggest problem of the day"
