just sort of blah

hello dear friends.
stopped in to say hello, and I hope everyone is taking care of themselves. (I find it easier to help someone else than it is to help and care for myself these days.)
anyway........... a young girl from my town passed away in an accident this past Thursday afternoon. she was only 17. I did not know her.....but that doesn't really matter.
All I could think about was, the living hell and the pain her parents will be going through for........well forever. so very sad.
My oldest, Tyler, decided yesterday would be a good day for him to drive to New Orleans for Mardi Gras...............
what a spitfire.........just a last minute thing ..I'm going to do this! and did it. It amazes me how independent he is..... his wheelchair doesn't slow him down one bit. as it should be. its not disability..... DIS = "Do! I Say!" ability.........
he certainly has the DO! I say attitude........ and for that I am grateful.
been a little down again lately.........I suppose because Brandon's birthday is coming up fast.
The fiance had to work on Valentines day........ and I didn't even get a card.......it made me sad. of course then I decided to pout the rest of the weekend...........
Stewart was naughty this morning........... he got into my plant that I have on the kitchen counter.........there was dirt EVERYWHERE.......... what a stinker..........just wasn't in the mood for that this morning.........little beasty kitty. Probably making up for the weekend that he slept away. I'm glad I have him tho.... He makes the hardest of days just a little less painfull.
Have a Blessed week my friends,
Much love and hugs,
Lisa

So sorry to hear of yet another angel...it never gets easier to hear of loss...because we KNOW the pain that is now theirs.

How wonderful for the serendipitous trip to New Orleans!

Even though you didn\'t know that young girl....you feel the loss & pain. Writing about these difficult times can be helpful in trying to deal with them. Letting our feelings flow when possible can help in our healing. Be especially gentle with yourself during this time as you try to process this added emotion. We are are with you & for you. Hugs of understanding.....Vicki

Understanding how connected we can feel and that it can stir up some already very fragile feelings.

Take care of YOU and hope that Stewart stays out of the dirt today. Our fur babies can do the craziest things sometimes.

(((Hugs))) of care,

I am late - we just got back from vacation. I hope you are feeling better. I can certainly relate to your feelings of sadness when we hear of another mother\'s loss.
Please try to take care of you as you take care of others.
Love and hugs,
Marlene
