Just some stuff on my mind...

Hi everyone :)
I set up some personal boundaries with friends that have been, and continue to be hurtful to me...and it was very hard for me. I guess it just goes to show me that I tend very much to be codependent, and take care of everyone's needs, not necessarily physically, but emotionally before I do mine!! It is crazy, yet I felt a loss when I stood up for myself, and it felt strange to have some self-respect. Why??? I guess it's this ingrained feeling that I am a loser, and others deserve better than I do. I need to keep on changing this, and letting people know how I feel about the way they treat me... honestly and kindly, and firmly. I made a statement about my Turners Syndome on Facebook yesterday too, on a status to my friends, and I am in some TS groups too. My dad and mama reposted the status, and have already gotten comments about it...so no turning back about this now. I am not sure how I feel about having made the whole thing public in a way, but I want to let people know that women with this syndrome deserve to be viewed as mature, wonderful, and unique-not as just girls with special needs. Yes, T.S. may affect my life, but I am more than that...and maybe if groups everywhere, both in person and internet expressed that to others than certain TV episodes and books that portray T.S. with such a a sterotype can be seen for the crap they are, lol!!
Blah blah blah lol. Just some rainy day thoughts...does rain make me spunky? haha, one friend of my dad's called me that. I don't see myself that way, but I guess maybe a bit. I can deal with that ;)

My first depression group, lead by my therapist went really well. I liked it :)

Love, Jasmine

P.S. I updated my goal, because I am starting to save my poems. I would like some imput on this. Does anyone think I am ready to submit any of them for publishing?

P.S.S. What is everyone's plans for Easter? We are going to my grandparents house, and I am drinking two cokes at least after my fast from pop :)
