Just one of those days
Dang, how do you keep upbeat when things go so S-l-o-w-l-y, I have been waiting anxiously a week to retest my INR sure that the numbers will be up and yes they were. HA my INR went from 1.8 to a whopping 1.9 WhooHooo what light speed huh? Dang I don't know if I can handle this. I guess I should be happy that the INR is at least going up but dayum that means at least another week of Lovenox shots and my belly already looks like an over abused pin cushion. Then to make matters worse I kind of fell last week and have this HUGE goose egg and bruise on my arm. I hit the shower bar with my arm. It looks as if I'm making a fashion statement as I have been tryig to color coordinate my scrubs to match the bruising. Next week when it turns green and yellow I will no longer have to wear black, blue and purple. OH wait I have no Green and yellow scrubs.................................Maybe I need to go shopping?The weather has finally turned nice and warm and I was contemplating going for a nice horse ride this morning before I have to go to work. Nothing far or fast just a casual ride to enjoy the out of doors. I actually got my horses shod yesterday so they are good to go.

1.8 to 1.9 progress-in percentage terms 5%; not to be sneezed at- every bit is worth it towards your target INR. You must be really frustrated at the pace but bear with it. My stomach too looks like every colour of the rainbow despite being off stomach injections a week ago-seems to be gaining a new colour every day!!
The horse riding sounds great and you deserve it-go for it.
As for being positive- I tried the negative approach two weeks ago and felt rubbish!, so I just look out the window -see the nice weather and think it could be far worse and it was three weeks ago.
Keep going -you know it make sense!!andy
Maybe some Tinker Bell scrubs are in order ? They are usually green yellow and blue with a little fairy dust ?
