Just one more day ...
She being my soon to be ex wife is moving out completely tomorrow. I have mixed emotions about it. And I think she does as well. I want her to know that I still care for her as a precious friend. We spent almost 28 years together counting our engagement. And we have two wonderfully awesome children who are grown now and making their way in this crazy world. So there are successes to help ease the pain of our failures. She keeps asking if I have heard from my attorney about a court date. I really hope that I can give her one very soon. We both will be better off divorced but also already there are things I miss about having her around. But without change there would be no growth. Life without change and growth would be very boring. So I accept my responsibility for these changes are coming about. I hope we both are better people for having known each other so intimately and for so long. I wish her all the best always.

I am feeling for her. How weird is that ??? But seriously she lived here most of her adult life and now she will be somewhere different. I imagine it is somewhat scary for her. And a large part of why she has to do this is my fault. :\' (
You are a truly sweet & caring man OD!
I wish my STBX cared about me as much as you do yours....

Sweetie, I know this is hard and ofcourse you are concerned about her . You spent many many years with her and she is the mother of your two wonderful kids. You will always be in each other\'s lives. You are a loving, kind man and I do hope you two can have a good friendship even though you won\'t be married any longer. I know you will always care about her and wish her the best. Love you sweetie xo
Forced change, in ways we wished didn\'t have to happen, is always a huge adjustment. It will take some time, but that\'s something now that you have in abundance and believe me, it has been a very good therapist for me.
Distance and time might force her to do a bit of reflection, as well. It\'s not always easy, but it\'s better than never facing things at all.
Also, you are very genuinely caring to be thinking of her at a time like this (and frankly this does not surprise me at all, knowing you!). There is no bitterness or malice in you. That is absolutely wonderful, and reminds me even more how lucky I am to know you.
You\'ll be okay---you\'ll both be okay!
you know i\'m here for you xxx
