we just killed a baby rattler snake.  only a foot long.  cr says to me, can't just throw it over there, in the lawn near the glass doors.  realllly?  what good would that do?  and in one month it will be two feet and it will bite someone and they may die....grrrr.  felt kind of bad though.  they are very pretty small like that.  beautiful markings.  wanted to pick it up, except they are poison.   just lost and in places it shouldn't be because its a baby.  right across our walk way. 
 
akj was here and says i'm not touching it.  i get a plastic mop without the mop part to kill it and akj keeps babbling and i'm trying to focus.  i SCREAMED at him, "shut up."  i think he was in shock.  i don't normally yell much.  he doesn't know NOT to babble when someone is trying to kill something and focus.  like the assholes who call you up when you are either leaving for a performance or even worse IN THE MIDDLE of performing.  are you kidding me? 
 
then there are the special kinds of dweebs, the asshole who brought her mother with her during her first week of work as a professional photographer on the road, to read the map for her.  she also stole other people's street maps, rather than buy her own and then discovered she couldn't DO the work on her own at all, so simply didn't show up for the other location shoots.  THEN, wanted to be paid a PIECE of whatever the next photographer made who DID shoot it.  wtf?  and her "mother" thought this was fair until the company wanted to be paid for the work not done and whatever was done wrong.  egg in your face.  plus the mother wasn't the booker the company was.
 
or the dweeb that showed up for an interview at a lawfirm WITH HER MOTHER.  who the hell goes to a JOB interview WITH THEIR MOTHER, and no she wasn't a minor, she was over 30.  omg!  and no she wasn't handicapped or anything else....different kind of handicap really.  she said her mother insisted that it was "normal" for her to go along.  give me a break.  lots of silent and knowing looks on that one between EVERYONE working there and the eyebrow shocked thing and all that.  where did she come from?  hope it wasn't an inside referral, what an embarrassment!     
 
so one of the guys killed the baby rattler.  yuck.  poor thing.  that was the event of the day.  also had the light looked at and called around about electrical wire and got prices on install.  the lawn guy was here as well and trimmed back limbs and did a great job.  he seems very qualified and responsible.  i cut him a check right there.  he reminds me of bill conway.  very reasonable and knowledgeable.  wouldn't expect people like that to ever get ripped off with money.  would hope there would be an appreciation there.  but the woman across the lane owes him $375 AND sent him a check that bounced.  that is over 3 months of lawn work.  she has an acre.  he is dropping the account and not looking for more because many of his accounts are slow pay or not paying right now.  wow!  i always pay lawn people right away.  he is going to supplement it with something that is a regular check because the guy with the account previous to him, told him her checks often bounce (she lives in a million dollar home she inherited, no mortgage, so wtf?  he says her check is from georgia (her other house) and her kids were impossible to deal with.  he doesn't want her account).  i told him to PRE-bill her.  patk does her's that way, and its the reverse problem, she pays monthly and often the lawn man doesn't show up.  another mess.  i could call her and see if she needs a new one.  lawn people only last two years max usually, same as bottle feeders for animals.   
talked to rn and br out of nowhere.  rn's mother was bipolar suicidal, then it turns out she was also murderous (tried to murder rn's sister) that is why her father had custody of them.  its also why she gets defensive when i go on about death penalty regardless of WHY, if they did it, then that is it.  and they should not be allowed to breed.  its genetic that kind of disorder.  the only sign that there is that going on is she blames money for not going out, but even if its free she doesn't go.   and a need to gossip maliciously.  when it comes to work have to ignore a lot of that, just to get the job done and ultimately they either conform or they have to go and are never surprised when they go anyway.  with hobbies, i generally don't have the patience for that.  hobbies are relaxing, i don't want any tension from the things i use to relax.
