Just in time
I received a call from my therapist yesterday. They have opened a new practice, and I have an appointment next week. I am so happy because I just got my last refill, and I have been depressed, and having problems with anxiety and no sleep. Now I can talk to them and get back on track. January 1-19 were the best days I had in over five years, then the meltdown started. I am feeling ok, just get a little sad in the evening when my husband leaves for work (but he annoys me when he is home). I don't relax and feel better until midnight then I am up until 3. Those are the best hours of the day for me. I mean night. I am in school for early childhood development. I have been wondering what I am going to do about a job in that field being a night person. Anyway, just glad that I am going to be getting my help back. People don't realize how important it is for mental health patients to receive help. It affects you, your family and especially the kids. I just checked out the book "Sometimes Mommy Gets Mad" so I can read it to my boys, but I had a migraine and couldn't open my eyes. Tomorrow will be better, I am going to relax and try to interact with them more, and read the book to them. My friends here at Daily Strength have really been a help to me with your encouraging words, and hugs. Thank-you so much, and enjoy your week-end.

I can realate to the late hours feeling like the best hours of the day .....but the lack of sleep also works against you ....you may not think so ...but it does ...being up late is a habit that can be broken ..like any other habit ..not easely because ..of .how it feels when everyone is in bed sleeping ...and you can just relax ..and just be ...I feel less stress ...but I have found that ..it isent good for me ....going to bed at the same time each night ..and getting up at the same time each morning ..helps to keep your BODIE clock ...regular ..instead of all over the place ...as that helps you to deal with all your other problems ..better to ...you have a Bodie clock for a reason ....if you get to little sleep it causes you to have stress .on the bodie and the mind ..and this builds up over time ....my son is bi polar and it is for him even more important to keep his body clock ..working as it schould ...if he doesent than he has problems with the bi polar ....it doesent happen ..all at once you just sort of slide into it .....this is somthing I work on ...so I go to bed ..with my h most times I have to read to get my self to sleep ....but keeping things regular ..realy helps ....I do fall back to my old habits once in a while but I realy feel ..the effects of it and I get right back to ..looking after my self ........sorry to here about the migrain ..I get them to ...not pleasant ......when my children were young ..and I had bad migrains ..and was in my room ..I always left the door opened just a little and I toold them they could come see me when ever the wanted ...but they had to be quiet ....so they would come in and sit on the bed ..cuddled up with me ...instead of me reading them a book they would read me a book ....I hope ....that what I have said has been of some help ...I need to come here to to be able to talk to people who understand me and what I go through ....it is to much to be dumping on the family all the time ....and the people in here are so good ..we are so good for eachother .......my friends here have helped me through so much through the years to ....so I am here for you .....take very good care of your self ..God bless
