the above site i got from "madonna of the mills" on facebook. people really need to VIEW what we as humans are doing and CONDONING. if we do nothing, and we are aware then we are guilty as well....accomplices. with child abuse its charged to the adult who does nothing to stop the abuse. i'll think of it later.
the site matches my mood for today.
mr's cleaning girl, who is also the sort of step daughter, of the lead singer in michael's band (its his livein girlfriend's daughter, was hit by a car and killed...she was 22 and it happened right near here. grrrr. then i read what they wrote on it, and its not even accurate. i had forgotten how much that always bugged me when i worked in court years ago - its never accurate.
then i get home and i see w and he says to me, that little stray you feed (its around 7 months old now and we just fixed her a couple of months ago). no idea where she comes from...he says she was hit by a car, and the car that hit her was hit from behind when the woman slammed her brakes trying not to hit her. then he says he thinks they will charge the owner of the cat for the accident. i would think he was kidding, but people who saved a FAWN DEER in indiana are being charged for saving the deer because animal control wanted to kill it. i have to find the article on this to post it. its sick. what is happening to our "civilization" (that is the furthest thing from being civilized. don't be kind, don't save animals or anyone or anything else or you will be sued. that is what it feels like. just hit me again.
then i brought the animals to be fixed (still haven't gotten the parents of the kittens) and asked about the maple syrup smell off of henrietta's urine, and they said it sounds like diabetes, she was fine on the other holistic food called evolve, but i guess not this one? how would i separate that at my house.
then my car is doing the gurgling sound again, i just put in a thermostat and whatever else that was....
one hell of a january, its only the first month of 2013 and it doesn't stop! that is 3 cats this month the other one was a siamese rescue that mr adopted from us and now two people. its insane. it feels jolting, like how can so much happen in so short a period of time?

Yea, this is tragic. Unbeievable how those numbers just keep scrolling up and up on the site. Makes me sick.
I know the world is messed up. Right now our Country is messed up. Seeing people abused, animals abused...well, it\'s just sickening. I can see why this is upsetting to you. It\'s upsetting to me.
We need to do what we can, as YOU are, to do one bit of good, every day, for at least one other soul, furry or human. It\'s all we can do. No one of us can save the world. But we can sure make it a point to do some good every day.

i actually do that, but i think that is from the bible. it has to be the THEME of your life. to save a life daily - any kind of life, frog, animal, bird, tree, flower etc., the theme of a person\'s life can\'t be death. some people go through life looking to DESTROY every day, like what and who and where can they do destruction, they call those people psychopaths, but there are so many of them.
like when people get out of their car and move a turtle out of harm\'s way, that is common here, or carrying cat food in a plastic jug and pulling over to feed strays, or picking up a frog that will be in harm\'s way and putting them on grass somewhere. so many ways to be a hero and save lives....water plants outside that look wilty...
Yep...you are right. That\'s how we\'re supposed to treat each other!!! And if people would simply do that....wow, what a different world we would live in!! xox
I can relate to the bad month, try having a bad year! Ugh!! I agree about saving a life. I did that a lot while I lived in FL. Getting turtles out of the road. Stopping for ducks or any animal that may dart into the road. If more humans would do that what a world this would be!

I so agree with all the above comments on our civilization now. People just do not care. Money is number one. Simple life is my answer in my now mature years. Helping people, animals, is what we all should do. What a difference this could make in our society.
Hope that car gurgles itself nice and clean. Maybe a bit of trash and all will be ok. Cars always milk us one way or another.

well ADD ANOTHER DEATH to the list! omg! can january get any worse? international folk dancer, julius horvath died. he taught hungarian folk and performed all over north florida. he offered lessons for free. i only mildly knew him. odd, as k knew him well, also from dance, about 20 years ago.
