Just going along today

So far I'm having a great time on Daily Strength. It gives me something fun to do in between hanging out with my friends and talking care of the various obligations in my life, not that there are many. I've joined 15 support groups and 8 groups. They keep me entertained. I'm so glad I came back!
This website is like 24/7 free group therapy and i have to say thank you to whoever invented it and runs it, it's helped me immeasurably in the bare five days I've been on it again.
Between weed, coffee and my cat I am very good at entertaining myself without my boyfriend. I will have other boyfriends and girlfriends later, but not for a while yet. I need some time alone. And really that is what I am getting out of Daily Strength the most is as something to fill my time since the breakup. Just like I watched all 6 seasons of sex and the city when we broke up last year and cried a lot when we broke up the year before that. We definitely had a seasonal relationship. That was a sign I had to get off of the merry go round.
Even though everything I put up here is public and I am here under my real name and with my real photo I am unashamed of that. I don't post anything on the Internet or in my published writing that I wouldn't want the whole world to see. I want to be seen on the Internet and rarely IRL as I am a disabled widowed Introvert and have a lot of social anxiety so prefer the Internet as an outlet then my actual life.
I mean, I have IRL friends and a social life, but I think outlets like this are helpful and this is certainly helping me.

I think it\'s great that you decided to re-join DS. I have been here almost a year now, since insomnia put me on disability for a while. I was going crazy in my house with no one to talk to during the day, while everyone else was at work. I feel it has changed my life. The amount of support I have received has been touching, and it had helped me open my heart to other people, and that has extended into my real life as well. I had really started hating the world. I do not feel that way anymore. I\'m glad weed, coffee, and your cat keep you entertained, sounds like me, lol! I admire you openness and honesty. It is quite refreshing ( :

Andrea, my favorite singer, Jennifer Miroslav of The Nuns group came from your area, before your time in 1980. Wondering if you were familiar with them...take care,...Rikki. http://dangerousminds.net/comments/jennifer_miro_of_the_nuns_r.i.p
