Just glad to be here.

This past weekend, my brother and his wife and kids were here to visit.  They came home to have a memorial service for the wife's sister.  She was barely 50 and passed in March of colon cancer.  She had just accomplished her life's dream by becoming a veterinarian at the age of 40 something when she was diagnosed.
 
I am so lucky to be alive!  I thank the man above for giving me the strength to deal with this disease and count my lucky stars that it will only affect the quality of life not the quantity.
 
Be at peace Rae Lynn.  Your pain is over and now you can help your beloved animals for the rest of eternity.  We surely will miss you.
