"Just Deal With It?"--How About Dealing With This!

As we were going to bed last night, I was telling DH about how I felt like I had a lot going on with barely any break. So he asked why I felt that way. I said with everything that's been going on all at once: the concert, the youth retreat, DD's birthday, etc. To which he said, "Well, those things happen every year." I said I know, but it just feels like everything is all piled on, one after the other & it was stressful. So he tells me: that's how it is; just deal with it!
Now granted, the things I told him do happen every year & normally, I just power through it all. But here are all the other things I've been dealing with, most of which he is aware of:
- DS's suspension
- dealing with the school, DCF, the psych & fighting to get DS back into school (which in itself is enough to send someone to the looney bin)
- DD's friend staying over for a week
- doing the gift exchange with my mom & sister (which was a pleasant time, but still, it had to be scheduled & gifts wrapped, etc.)
- Super Bowl party (again, fun, but another "thing")
- being super sick (I'm still not 100% over it yet)
- the blizzard & shoveling out
- getting DS's cap & gown form to & from the school, complete with measurements
- doing the federal and state taxes
- my old friend will be in town this weekend & I'm juggling our family's schedule vs when he's available, in addition to reaching out to my sister (who will give me heck if I don't give her the option to be included, which is fine, but still...)
- College Funding night at the school next Tuesday
- Girl Scout Cookie Booth sale & cookie pick-up is next Saturday
- the part of the housecleaning that DH does not do
And the things that I still have not gotten around to:
- all the forms to fill out to be a Scout driver (I may end up blowing this off)
- ordering yearbooks for the kids
- talk to my son about BRS
- teach DS how to do his bank account reconciliation
- go through my daughter's volunteer schedule (which she has yet to email to me)
Top it off with 2 teenagers & their moods!
I'd like to see him deal with all that! He can't even handle all the housecleaning even though he's not working right now. And when he is working, he's "too tired to do anything". Please!
Don't get me wrong; I will "deal with it"...It'll be stressful, but I will "deal with it" because that's what I do!
