Just Chilling
Hi everyone,
It is a pleasant day here in North Carolina. The temp this morning is 65 and my pug Maxie is taking in the leaves flying off the trees. We have a bay window and he jumps in the recliner and then the window. That is his favorite place to take in the world. Of course where I live it is usually the cows in the pasture across the road or the occasional tractor going by. The squirrels and the birds do not faze him. He just loves to lay in the sun on the window ledge. A few years ago we had some ceramic tile put on that ledge since that was going to be his spot. A soft rug and he is happy as a June bug on a hot summer day!! That little pug has been such a bright spot in our lives for the past 5 years. He can take away the depression that I struggle with dealing with the "what if's". You notice I in that sentence? Rarely does Steve get down, he has the ability to stay on top. Thank you God for that!!
The Daily Strength has gotten on my last nerve!! How about yall? How long does it take to fix a computer problem? I feel really sorry for those who are new members! They need our support, wish they could get it fixed soon.
I sincerely hope that each of you are having a good day. My prayers are with you!
Love, Wanda

Wanda, You Steve reminds me of my Buddy..regardless or how hard things were going for him the the stays in the hospital and the treatments he was always smiling and trying to make others smile. Even as short as 4 days before I lost him. And that is the man I keep in my heart and the man that keeps me going every day...and keeps away those dark moments. I was thinking the same thing as you ...really how long does it take. At least I get notices though email when someone writes a journal....maybe they need a new IT person...animals do help us..I have two cats and Buddy was not a cat person when he married me but he discovered just how loving those cats could be...and he became very fond of them...Peace and love to you Wanda, Hugs, Ellen
Hi Wanda, You describe a wonderful scene of your little pug looking out the window. I\'m glad she helps to keep your spirits up. My little dog has been my life-saver...I don\'t know what I would do without her.
Steve sounds like quite a man. I don\'t know how Steve, or for that matter my M could do it. I hope Steve will always have reason to smile and be happy (which I know will make you happy too!). Love you, Linda
Its good to hear praises to God then bashes to DS, eh! I am with you sister...Amen!
lovely journal entry Wanda. My blessings to you and Steve, Nita x
The weather is beautiful here too! I\'m glad your little Maxie is able to keep your spirits up! My kitties do that for me too! Especially the kitten that we are hoping has a \"forever home\" We are getting attached to her & her michievous ways, except at night time, when we want to sleep!
God\'s blessings to you, Steve & Maxie,
Lois
Yes DS is so annoying right now! As usual, I get so much of what you are saying. It is amazing to be with a man who stays up and positive in the midst of the struggle, trusting God, and accepting it all. Dan was that way. And the doggie, yeah, I relate to that too. If James complains too much about how spoiled my Jagger is I just remind him that little dog got me through some VERY tough days and nights.
Hugs

Hi Wanda,
Years ago when my kids were young, we had a dog named Ringo. He was a great dog, a mutt. We also had a bay window and that was where he loved to be. These dogs know how to live!
I am also very annoyed with the DS site. I think I am going to pack it in, as it is nothing like it was before. Just a pain now.

Wanda Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I am not sure that DS does have the problem fixed. I click on your journal entry and it dosn\'t take me to your journal just a list of things other friends have been posting. Not to happy about it. I know God with be with you and you\'re right don\'t think about the scan till that day. One day at a time. Have a great turkey day, you two will be in my thoughts. Jane
