Just catching up
Wow, how fast time has moved. It is hard to believe it is August. I has been a while since I have been on DS. It looks like the system is running faster now. The kids will be going back to school this month and summer is almost over.
I've been pretty busy lately. Working last for the past two weeks. Changes at the job where many of us will be reassigned to new jobs over within two months. It is a funny feeling not knowing what you will be doing in a couple of months. I am however thankful that I do have a job with benefits, so I am by no means complaining. Things are going well for my husband which is good. Business is picking up since the housing market is better so that will certainly be helpful financially. My father-in-law is making progress with the renovations of his home and may have things done by September. He has been with us since my mother-in-law passed back in March of 2011. I think he is finally ready to take the step to live on his own. My boys are good. They will be going to different schools this year. One in public and the other in private school so it will be a stretch financially. My oldest is a senior this year so we are starting to plan the college tours. It is so hard to believe my baby is a senior. Anyway, thought it was time for me to update my journal with my life changing events.

Sounds like things are going good for you. I know you will be glad to have your father in law in his own house. School starts this week for my step son. He is not excite at all. lol. My baby finished high school last year and will be starting college in a couple of weeks. Start now filling out for scholarships. We waited at the last minute. Megan did get a small one but if we prepared better she would have gotten more. Take care!
