Just can't do it.

Had second swim class tonight. I can't go back..I can't! Tuesday I got 2 abrasions and 2 brush burns from getting out of the deep end of the pool. Tonight I re-injured the scrap I had on my left knee...hurt my back...have 2 more abrasions going diaginal across my shin bone...have a scrape on my toe...and my good knee is killing me. I can barely walk. It is not handicap accessable and with my knee it is impossible to get in and especially getting out.
We are going to look somewhere else for water aerobics or I'll just use the pool here and do exercises. But I just can't do one more class. My sister (who's a nurse) is very upset about the whole thing too. I hope I don't get anything infected being diabetic.
Well, I gave it a try. I was looking forward to having fun but not more pain. Atleast it was only $35. Lesson learned.

I am so sorry this was the experience especially after giving it a go and being so positive, but ya know what you GAVE IT A GO , that\'s a positive on it\'s own, I won\'t even take my kids swimming in a public pool because of the scaring I have (for different reasons) so as someone once said to me \"don\'t let a bad day turn into a bad week\". You\'re already being positive by saying you\'ll find somewhere to go that is better equipped - so you are NOT GIVING up, well done you, I\'m proud of you, you should be proud of you. Hugs and love your friend Charlie x

I agree with Charlie. I\'m sorry this pool didn\'t work out but hopefully you can find somewhere else because it really can help and be fun. I was doing mine at a YMCA so it was handicap accessible. Hope you find somewhere else. In the meantime just do what you can. You\'ll make it. Have faith.

What a disappointment. I know you were so excited about it about it. And You are very strong for giving it another try. I thought that you were gonna be working in the shallow end this time? I find it very strange that there is a swimming pool that has water aerobics classes that is not handicap accessible. Is the class at a health center? That is really unusual. You definitely gave it your best. That is for sure. Keep looking and you will find your fit for now. Once you have the surgery and the weight starts melting off you will find that you won\'t have those problems anymore and things will be so much easier. You will be jumping out of the pools. Something to look forward to in the near future. Love ya!!!
