Just Back From Shopping!
Took today and tomorrow off work. Went with my Stepsister and Stepmom to Lancaster for the day to the outlets and went shopping. A little cold and then raining this afternoon, but still had a great day. Got a new necklace and bracelet at the Brighton shop. I will have Paul give that to me for my birthday. Bought a really cute jogging outfit (pants, top, hoodie) and a couple of t shirts at the Liz Claiborne outlet (everything was 50% off then I had a 20% off coupon then got another 5% off for signing up for emails.) I did get a donut and coffee at the bakery this AM. Skipped lunch and then dinner at Cracker Barrel. I had haddock, red potatoes and baby carrots. I only had one biscuit. I got a cute dress at Dress Barn for my niece's Christening in June. Got some candles at the candle shop. Spent A LOT of money. Feeling slightly guilty but I only do this once a year. I shouldn't feel bad. I don't do this every weekend. I really only go to the mall maybe twice a year.
I went to the Y yesterday and did 48 minutes on the treadmill. 3.0 miles. They have this t shirt at the Y that says "Frequent Y er" and has wings on the front. You get it if you go more than 150 times in a year. So I checked and I am at 29. My goal for the end of the year is 100 times from a few weeks ago. So if I bump it up a little, maybe I can get a t shirt. So anyway, will try and see what if I can do it. Shame, they only just announced it. Had I known, maybe I would have gone more. But I have like 34 more weeks to go. So I will see. I am going to keep track and see what happens. I will update my Y goal in a few days.
I have off work today and tomorrow. We are going to an appliance store tomorrow to look at kitchen appliances. Need to pick those out and get dimensions before I can order kitchen cabinets. This is my dream house and hopefully in a few months I will have my dream kitchen in my dream house.
Big family argument last night over some things said at my mom's on Sunday. I am loaning my niece some money (like $700) to buy a car. This is part of it. But my sister's new boyfriend apparently is overprotective and called my brother to chew him out. And so things kind of blew up. Sheesh! Family drama. Hate it but at least life is not boring, right? I lent my sister my Love & Logic CD's to try to give her some ideas to help her with her kids. Great program!
Paul and David are just ok. Some minor blow ups, thank God nothing major. My Jr/Adult bowling league for David and I starts tomorrow. My Thursday night league is over day after tomorrow and my Friday league is now over as of this past Friday. Thursday is the tournament for all the marbles. Hopefully I will bowl well.

I agree, never feel guilty about shopping, especially if it\'s only once a year! I love outlet shopping and hardly ever do it. Good luck with the bowling team, sounds fun!! Family drama goes with every family, I can relate! Your niece, I sure, is very grateful for you thoughtfulness!
